The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Some of the sentences that I like in this book:
1. In all the world's wood and forest, God did not create a single leaf the same as another.
2. Making a decision was only the beginning of things.
3. Everyone has his or her own way of learning things. His way isn't the same as mine, nor mine as his. But we're both in search of our destinies and I respect him for that.
4. "Why you are so interested in the future?"
"I can do things. So, I can change those things that I don't wnat to happen."
"But, then they wouldn't be a part of your future."
"Well, maybe I just want to know the future so I can prepare myself for what's coming."
" If good things are coming, they will be a pleasant surprise. If bad things are, and you know in advance, you will suffer greatly before they even occur."
"I want to know about the future because I'm a man, and men always live their lives based on the future."
5. People are afraid to persue their most important dreams, because they feel that they don't deserve them, or that they'll be unable to achieve them.
